What Operating Systems to Choose?

That is the question that others and I have been asking for a long time.

The thing is, whatever operating system that is the best for you might not be the best for everyone. It all depends on what demographic you are in.

For example, people who don't use technology or aren't that tech savvy might consider using Windows, however, Windows is also bloated with Micro$oft's AI slop and it ends up consuming a lot of your computer's resources, which is also why a lot of people have been slowly switching to Linux. Linux is open-source, and unlike Windows, doesn't send your information to Micro$lop so they can spy and make profit off of you. Although no computer comes with linux pre-installed (They all are pre-installed with Windows or macOS), you can easily install it yourself if you try hard enough. In fact, a good first starting point is something known as Linux Mint. I believe Linux Mint is a nice balance between convenience and customization. It lets you customize a lot of things, while still retaining some convenience. I would recommend that if you were a noob at Linux or want a convenient OS that isn't Windows or MacOS.

MacOS

Now, you should probably take my opinion of MacOS with a grain of salt, because I don't really use MacOS for anything, but I still made this from other people's reviews. From watching YouTube videos, I could tell that MacOS had a good GUI and looked sleek by design, and had some useful features that Linux and Windows lack in. Unfortunately, MacOS is owned and developed by CrApple, which means that they still end up spying on you and collecting data.

So, What is the Best OS?

Everything beyond this point is my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt. I think the best group of operating systems is Linux, solely because it is fully customizable and unlike both Windows and MacOS, doesn't spy on you.

For people who aren't that tech savvy or want more convenience, I would recommend: Linux Mint
For people who are tech savvy and want everything customizable: Slackware
